Microsoft Offers $44.6B for Yahoo

Running my own Internet company since 1997 and working at a hi tech Internet software company since 1996, I have been around the web for a while. Before Google came along, there was Yahoo, Netscape and the “not stupid” Microsoft.
Years later, after Google started up and took over the market, and the dot com internet bubble burst and things looked pretty bleak, and Netscape went under, those of us in the Industry knew that we were on a roller coaster and this was just the beginning of the ride.
When I made the switch from being a webdesign company to a website marketing company specializing in (SEO) search engine optimization, PPCÂ and interactive public relations amongst other things, my colleagues and I knew that there was big news brewing. Since Google was killing Yahoo in everything Internet, and Microsoft MSN was lagging behind in the dreaded number three spot, it made sense for MS to make a bid.
I am sure this isn’t the first time that MS has made the bid for Yahoo! but I think it should be the last. Come on people. Wake up and smell the 44.5 BILLION dollars and take the money and RUN!!!!
Just like I told Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook to take the BILLION and have a great rest of your life since you can do anything you want in this world with a billion dollars in your bank account and you can’t do too much more with another billion except make more billions, buy islands, countries, people, cure cancer etc. etc., (he rejected my idea btw since he figured FB was worth a LOT more - but so what) Yahoo! should take the 44.5 and smile all the way to solving the world’s problems.
Bill Gates and Warren Buffet had to really WORK to make their billions. Now Bill is offering the Yahoo guys to have the same amount of money in the bank and probably to join him and Warren at the same bridge table (maybe thats why they are doing it since they only have 2 and need 2 more 
So Yahoo guys, if you don’t take my advice you are fools. In the end Zuckerberg was right. Facebook IS worth more than 1 billion. But Yahoo isn’t worth more than 44.5. Take it. Its a good deal. Trust me. I know
Oh and by the way, SalemGlobal is for sale for a measly $10 million if anyone out there is interested (I must put this up on eBay). But I will tell you this. We are growing tremendously and I am pretty sure we are on track to tripling sales in 2008 so the price next year will be $20million.
