Hanukkah and Work
6 December 2007There is always a balance between working and playing and tonight I am literally in the thick of it. On the one hand, I have a TREMENDOUS amount of work that I needed to do last week but I have the trade show at the NY Xpo. The week before that was Thanksgiving and the week before that I was traveling. Now, looking into the future I foresee more travel, more work, more family and “JANE STOP THIS CRAZY THING! JAAAAAAANNNNNEEEEEE!”
So here I am at 7PM in my NYC office trying to crank out press releases for clients in medical billing, medical supplies and other industries and yet I also have to send out billing and invoices as well as get home to light the Hanukkah candles. (Tonight is the 2nd night for anyone reading this.) I am sure I am forgetting things but then there is the social part of me that just wants to go out for a beer wtih friends (particularly for my friend’s birthday) and of course I need to run in Central Park as this will be my last opportunity for a while before I start traveling again.
Parties. Work. Friends. Work, Family. Work. Health. Food. Repeat.
And now I can’t even pick up my shirts from the dry cleaner cause my office is too far away. Aaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are my latest FB updates. Back to work now…
