strategically thinking about how to improve his softball game. Looking at more real estate property in Abu Tor Jerusalem. Fixing JudaicaStore.com for Hanukkah…
When I started playing Jerusalem softball around 3 months ago I was very good. Hitting every pitch that came in the strike zone and strategically placing it in the outfield in the gaps. I even got 1 or 2 home runs. And then a few weeks ago I got into a slump. I know its all in my head. I just need to shift my thinking, attitude and outlook. As for my fielding which went from “terrible” to “not so bad,” I can only blame my new softball glove so much. At some point I need to take responsibility. And lastly, my base runnning was horrendous. I ran when I shouln’t have run and that quite possibly was one of the causes that made the game go into 13 or 14 innings.
On a positive note, I did get a few hits and made some ok plays. The pitching from the other team was superb. Otherwise, I look forward to getting back on the field and doing it all over again… And I guess the camaradarie, beer, chips and rugalach make it all feel better afterwards too… cause its not whether you win or lose… its how you play the game. (And regardless of whether you play a good or bad game, you are going to think about it..or in my case, blog about it…)
